The profile of these places looks like a series of waves of green land and that the most impressive, the Mountain Scalambra, slowly subsides in the hills almost always steep, until you reach a gentle landscape, typical of the Roman countryside of fertile hills and sunshine.
Under the surface of the earth lurks the red volcano soil of Lazio, yellow sand Tyrrhenian, white stone of Abruzzo and above sprouts of lives, wherever there are vineyards.
Somebody says that now the weather is hotter than fifty years ago, it’s really, just the time decided to ride the extremes. If it rains, it burns. If it is hot, it burns.
We see these places, and what they can give, a bit ‘like the weather: the bad does not exist, there is the horrible. The good does not exist: there is the sublime.
